GM, happy Friday, and welcome back! Matt here, bringing you a post-Christmas unboxing.

The holiday week was eventful, as Anyone Protocol launched its mainnet, Dabba Network hit 50,000 TB of data consumed, and Livepeer topped 1 million minutes/day of AI video processing.

PinLink, meanwhile, launched a tokenized RWA platform for DePIN assets.

Some sad news: Wayru Network announced it will cease operations, marking a notable industry exit. We’re sorry to see them go, but wish them well in their future endeavors and look forward to covering those who take up the mantle in bringing rural LATAM online.

Back on the upbeat, however, DoubleZero looked back on a year well spent, including their SEC No-Action Letter, $28M in funding, and a mainnet-beta launch (which now carries 40% of Solana’s mainnet stake).

The buildout of distributed infrastructure marches onward and upward. 👷🛠️

💻 Compute Claus Delivers

We’re in no shortage of stocking stuffers this year, as DePIN cloud protocols shipped across the board. AIOZ upgraded DePIN CLI to v1.2.5, Nosana released its Kit v2.0, and ASI:Cloud deployed new open-weight models GPT-OSS-120B and MiniMax M2. 

No coal this year, either, as Tashi Network blew past 60k live nodes, Ionet detailed its new Incentive Dynamic Engine, and Filecoin introduced USDFC for predictable USD-based storage billing.

On the governance front, IoTeX opened voting on IIP-55, and Streamr did the same for SIP-23 and SIP-24.

Aethir wrapped it up with an $ATH Multichain Bridge, Render Network passed RNP-022 for year 3 emissions, and if you’re looking for merch, they also launched a new store.

🤖 New Year’s Robotics Resolution

If you want to hit the ground running in the New Year, you’ll be sprinting alongside DePINs who closed out 2025 strong.

XMAQUINA predicts 2026 will be even better, with even faster humanoid development. That’s why they announced a final $DEUS early access auction and introduced a Contributor Leaderboard on mobile.

Delysium, meanwhile, recently launched Lucy Beta V2, and Minima released its Integritas AI Agent for ChatGPT.

Peaq enabled tokenized robot yields via Dualmint’s platform, and iG3 outlined its 2026 roadmap for healthcare and robotics.

In telecoms, World Mobile launched its Network Builder Discovery Phase and Network Builder auction process, while DAWN’s brand refresh arrived in style.
