Payday for the Machines 🤖
February 6th, 2026
GM, happy Friday! MattGPT here, bringing you a dose of positivity during this market turmoil.
Bags may be down, but builders keep building: In a world first, Peaq distributed 3,820 USDT to robo-farm NFT holders this week. The robotics revolution marches on, with robotic labor poised to deliver ever more tokenized yield.
Blockchain Reporter noted Io.net as one of six projects transforming physical infrastructure as we know it.
We think there’s more than six, but that’s what DePIN is all about: transforming, innovating, and connecting. Just look at Dabba Network, which hit over 500,000 daily users this week.
Progress is being made every single day in our industry, as Relayed to you yesterday in an epic broadcast with 375ai, Silencio, and Tashi.
🤝 Power Pairs
We’re not the only ones recognizing the power of distributed media; this week, dTelecom integrated AIOZ Storage for media handling and delivery, DoubleZero partnered with Laconic Network to bring a 200 Gbps line to Miami, and more:
🤝 0G x TheARCTERMINAL - Decentralized Intelligence
🤝 Flux x Strateji - Africa’s Decentralized Cloud
🤝 DAWN x FlumeInternet - New York Coverage
DePIN networks are plugging in mutual value adds like an infrastructure jigsaw puzzle. We love to see it.
📡 Plug and Play
Communication DePINs are a major piece of that puzzle, and they’ve hit the ground running this year. World Mobile announced another sold-out AirNode drop, with another on the way, and reported 100,000+ AirNodes deployed.
Dabba Network – in addition to hitting record user numbers – introduced on-chain verification for its traffic and revenue, while DoubleZero’s progress didn’t stop in Miami. Reporting January metrics with 7.82 Tbps of bandwidth and distributed 617,000 2Z contributor rewards, they’ve delivered impressive growth in short order.
Hivemapper also sent rewards in the final payout for sunset HDC/HDC-S devices as NATIX launched a new search engine, WorldSeek, in partnership with Grab.
Meanwhile, Nubila Network’s weather tracking expanded with a plumbing layer for cleaner weather data feeds; LayerDrone detailed its entry into the drone industry on a podcast; and Wingbits launched a Near Misses feature to replay TCAS airspace events.
💡 Innovation Spotlight
Speaking of events, Uprock hyped its upcoming presence at CatLumpurr with a custom anthem. They’re not the only ones getting creative:
💡 Render Network features WAI-000 immersive experience at Artechouse
💡 Render Network showcases Auris NYE visuals by ClemsonKris
💡 Render Network powers short film premiering at Amdocfilmfest by Glitch_Black
💡 Arkreen Power Yield launches with 300 kW solar node in Thailand
💡 Arkreen launches eCandle field trial for community energy financing
💡 USD.AI featured as innovative stablecoin model in Castle Labs report
DePINnovation is being cooked up around the globe.
🤖 Rise of the Machines
Peaq’s robo-farm payout was just an appetizer. They also introduced OpenClaw-ready ROS2-compatible robots using their very own peaq Robotics SDK. Machines that can register themselves – a brain-blasting development.
Theta Network laid out its 2026 vision, which included distributed inference, AI business intelligence, and agent expansions, while Teneo Protocol introduced a pay-per-result model for agents with no subscriptions or locked credits.
iG3 brought us BIM/CIM on the Edge (on-chain) as 0G hosted a Vibe Coding session in Shenzhen where builders developed AI use cases using 0G tech stacks.
Silencio implemented Voice Activity Detection to more fairly reward contributors based on actual spoken time while completing all outstanding payments, with more payments on the way.
Last but certainly not least, Streamr went live with its Streamr App Alpha, boasting unlimited video conferencing and end-to-end encryption. The app is fire, so are token burns and device deals:
💎 NodeOps Weekly $NODE Burn
💎 Acurast $ACU Available on SwissBorg Exchange
💎 $ANYONE Token Listed on BitMart
💎 DeNet Launches Airdrop
💎 BrushO Valentine’s Day Special, BOGO
